Chillicothe Christian Church, Supported Missions
In keeping with our mission “to lead people to Christ and grow together in Christlikeness”, Chillicothe Christian Church has chosen to support five mission works. Eleven percent of all general offerings are placed in our mission’s account and dispersed quarterly.
Our Benevolent Fund is used for short-term emergency needs in the area. We contribute regularly to the Chillicothe Community Needs Agency and the Love In Action Food Pantry.
Many of our families and youth attend Little Galilee Christian Assembly camp through out the year. The camp offers different retreats for Senior Saints, Women, Men, Singles etc.
The Central Illinois Evangelism Association is a group of churches working to establish new church works in the Heartland of Illinois. Our church received funds from CIEA to help with the construction of our building many years ago.
Lincoln Christian College and Seminary provides many of the ministers, youth workers and leaders in our area. Members of our church travel to seminars held there through out the year. It is an excellent resource.
Tom, Debbie, Jessica and Sarah Seckler are serving under World Team in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Prior to this move they served several years in Indonesia.
Crossword Café is the youth center on Second Street that serves Jr. High and Sr. High students in our area. We support this mission field financially and by providing volunteers to help staff the center during open hours.
Please keep all our mission works in your prayers as they live out
the Great Commission daily.
