I’m excited about Easter Praise 2009! The day we celebrate our Lord’s resurrection is always a joyous occasion – and having it at our building with two worship opportunities (9:00 and 10:30) will be great! The BELIEVE choir and drama group are working hard to make this a memorable time of worship. Be sure to invite friends and family!

I’m also excited about what’s happening AFTER Easter. You may have noticed that the economy in this country is having a bit of difficulty? Well, God’s Word has so much to say on the subject of finances and material possessions…and I’m going to bring those concepts to light beginning Sunday, April 19th.

This series on finances will be as Biblical and practical as I can make it. We’re going to look at topics like:
• What are the factors that should influence every financial decision you make
• Why getting out of debt is such a difficult issue for many people
• How to become content with what we have
• How to prioritize our expenses and giving

There will be much more, all solidly based in counsel from scripture.

So as we approach Easter and beyond…would you please make it a priority to pray for all those who need to hear the message of the Gospel – and that they would respond to our invitations?
