Nikolausmarkt Volunteers Needed

The Chillicothe Nikolausmarkt Team is seeking volunteers on November 21st and 22nd for our second annual German holiday festival, the Nikolausmarkt, at City Park in Chillicothe, IL. We have many events scheduled for those dates, including our Christmas Parade, 5K race, Carriage Rides, and Artisan vendors selling their wares.

Friday, November 21st from 4 pm-8 pm

Market Vendors, Tree Lighting Ceremony, Carolers

Saturday, November 22nd from 11 am-7 pm

Market Vendors, Christmas Parade, Santa Visits, Stage Performances, Carriage Rides, and a 5K Race

Some of the volunteer needs would be runners, taking supplies to vendors in the park, watching the vendor booth while the vendor takes a break, extra hands at setup helping decorate chalets and tents, helping direct people at the Horse Carriage Ride, parking attendants to direct traffic, and more.

Please reach out to Dee Buckingham if interested in helping out, and more detailed instructions will be sent to you as we get closer to the event.
